Rap Music has done so much for me personally, and for a lot of other youth. we believe it deserves the respect that other genres are afforded. These four remixes of very popular rap music songs showcase my love for the genre, and preserve each song as a great cultural artefact in the late 21st century capitalism era we live in! The focus was on textures of sounds and rhythm as opposed to a formal arrangement in each. I would love for the listener to focus on the heart and soul of each track, and the sociological context each song was made in. Do you research, be inspired, and hopefully you understand where a GENERATION came from ;)
